We evaluate the equipment and the system conditions relevant to the complaint, document what we find, and explain the repair options and scope before approved work begins.
It's Solving the Whole Problem.
Commercial HVAC symptoms can come from equipment, controls, airflow, electrical, refrigeration, drainage or other system conditions. We diagnose the conditions that apply to the installed equipment and the complaint before recommending repair work.
We review the reported problem, affected spaces, equipment type, accessible service history or fault information, and the operating conditions relevant to the call.
Why It Matters:
This creates a documented starting point for the diagnosis instead of assuming the failed component from the symptom alone.
When airflow is relevant to the complaint, we inspect the accessible filters, blower or fan operation, coils, dampers, duct connections, supply and return paths, and other distribution conditions that can affect performance.
Why It Matters:
Airflow problems can look like equipment problems, so distribution conditions are checked when they are part of the diagnosis.
We verify the thermostat, applicable sensors, staging, control calls, safeties and operating sequence needed to understand how the equipment is responding.
Why It Matters:
Control faults can create symptoms that resemble equipment failures, so controls are tested before unnecessary parts are recommended.
As the equipment and diagnosis require, we inspect electrical components and connections, refrigeration-system operation, coil condition, condensate handling, combustion components and applicable safety controls.
Why It Matters:
The scope follows the installed equipment and the problem being diagnosed rather than a one-size-fits-all checklist.
We explain the findings and document the condition and recommended next steps so the business, owner or property manager has a record of what was found.
Why It Matters:
The report provides a practical record for repair approval, maintenance history and future planning.
Before approved repair work begins, the customer receives the repair scope and pricing. After the repair, the applicable system operation is checked before the visit is closed out.
Why It Matters:
The customer can review the proposed work before authorizing it and receives a documented result after the repair.
If a commercial HVAC failure is affecting business operations, contact our office and describe the equipment and impact. We will review the service need and available scheduling options. Do not enter rooftop, electrical or mechanical equipment areas unless you are authorized and trained to do so.
Air Care Heating & Cooling handled a commercial AC repair in Gilroy, CA 95020 after a store’s air conditioner was not cooling. Technician Steve traced a low-voltage electrical short on the rooftop package unit to a wire that had been rubbing against a copper refrigerant line, repaired and secured the wire, and confirmed cooling and operation were normal at that time.

Air Care Heating & Cooling completed a commercial heating repair in Campbell, CA 95008 after a commercial package unit stopped providing heat. Technician Kintroy diagnosed the heating problem and found that the inducer motor was not running. The inducer motor is part of the heating system’s startup and safety sequence — when the inducer motor does not operate properly, the heating system will not proceed with normal heating operation. Kintroy traced the problem to the capacitor serving the inducer motor. The capacitor was replaced, the heating system was restored to operation, and the client had heat again the same day.
