With the home’s furnace and air conditioner both approximately 24 years old, the homeowner decided to replace the existing system with a high-efficiency Bryant heat pump and air handler while taking advantage of available heat-pump rebates. The project also included an Air Scrubber indoor air quality system. Because the single-family home is part of an HOA, Air Care helped the homeowner with the HOA documentation and City of Santa Clara permit process for the project.

The homeowner’s existing air conditioner was tripping the circuit breaker during the hottest part of the day. Air Care diagnosed the system and found a failing compressor. The furnace and air conditioner were approximately 24 years old, so the homeowner had to decide whether to continue investing in the existing equipment or replace the aging HVAC system. Because the home is part of an HOA, the replacement project also required HOA documentation and city permitting.
After the diagnosis identified the failing compressor, the homeowner decided to replace the approximately 24-year-old furnace and air conditioner with a high-efficiency heat pump system. The homeowner wanted to take advantage of available heat-pump rebates and also chose to add an Air Scrubber as an indoor air quality upgrade for the home.
Kintroy and Juan removed the existing 24-year-old furnace and air conditioning equipment and installed a new Bryant heat pump and Bryant air handler. An Air Scrubber was also installed as part of the home’s indoor air quality upgrade. Air Care helped the homeowner complete the HOA documentation and City of Santa Clara permitting associated with the project.
The Santa Clara home now has a new Bryant heat pump and air handler in place of the approximately 24-year-old furnace and air conditioner. The project also added an Air Scrubber for indoor air quality, and Air Care assisted the Gold Club member with the HOA documentation and city permit process required for the replacement.
