A Gold Care Club member in San Jose scheduled one of their twice-yearly maintenance visits for their Mitsubishi ducted heat pump. The homeowner was not experiencing any heating or cooling problems, so this visit was focused on inspecting, testing and cleaning the system before the upcoming season.

Our Recommendation

Fernando went beyond a basic visual inspection. Air Care maintenance includes opening the equipment so the technician can inspect and test components that cannot be properly evaluated from the outside.

Our Solution

During this visit, Fernando checked items including the system’s electrical connections and controls, capacitor operation, condensate and drainage, filter condition, airflow and blower condition. As a Gold Care Club member, the homeowner also receives the applicable deeper cleaning services, including blower-wheel and coil cleaning.

Outcome

No problems were found with the system at this time. The maintenance visit gave the homeowner a documented look at the current condition of the equipment before the upcoming season.

This scheduled visit was included with the homeowner’s Gold Care Club membership.

More Than a Visual Inspection
